The great ideas of the future—the ones that might cure devastating diseases or address our world’s looming climate challenges—won’t be devised by brilliant, solitary thinkers. Instead they will emerge from the intellectual collisions of research teams.
When completed in early 2018, San Diego State University’s EIS Complex will be a center of collaborative research. In addition to cutting-edge labs and working spaces, the complex will also provide new, state-of-the-art classrooms, allowing SDSU’s faculty to cultivate the problem-solvers of tomorrow.

To better serve current and future students, the College of Business Administration recently renovated its classrooms, conference rooms and student/faculty space.
The $3-million renovation upgraded technology and amenities to enhance the educational environment of the college, which is ranked by U.S. News and World Report in the top 50 public business schools nationwide and in the top 10 in California.

Results of the Library Strategic Plan and Phasing Study looks to transform the library into a center for collaborative learning and part of that is transformation of the library space. Critical needs include more seating space, intuitive navigation and connecting the Info Dome to the main library.
