By: SDSU AthleticsDue to rising costs in athletic scholarships, our student-athletes need your help in supporting the Aztec athletics nutrition plan. You can help our athletes get the nutrition they need to compete at the highest level.
Who we are:
The Aztec club is the fundraising arm of San Diego State athletics. With over 500 student-athletes and more than $8.9 million in annual student-athlete scholarship expenses, continuing our growth in the Aztec Club is the number one priority for San Diego State Athletics.
2014-15 Mountain West Champions
In 2014-15 The San Diego State Mens basketball team won its 9th conference championship and lead all California Division I schools in average home attendance for the fifth consecutive season.
What we do:
The Aztec Club provides necessary resources to help our student-athletes succeed in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. More than 3700 Aztec club members make annual contributions to help offset expenses for the 500-plus student-athletes in SDSU's 19 Division I sports programs. Our goal is to keep pace with the increasingly competitive athletic environment through private support keeping SDSU a top tier program.
Why we need your help:
Due to the evolving landscape in collegiate athletics, the cost of meal incidentals will be a game-changer for many student-athletes. In order to compete at the highest level, it is essential for our athletes to maintain nutrition standards by fueling their bodies with the proper foods. We have established a short-term goal to provide immediate support of funding for this project.
Your gift of any amount - $25, $50, $125 - brings us closer to our goal. Donate now to support our Aztec athletes.
