Funding Depends on Your Decision
If you are an SDSU Alumni Association member and have not already done so, it is important to designate a priority chapter of interest. Funding for individual alumni chapters is now based on your choice.
As a benefit of Alumni Association membership, you may belong to as many chapters as you wish at no cost, but one of those chapters must be singled out as a priority to receive monetary support from the Alumni Association.
Each alumni chapter receives an additional $10 from the Alumni Association for every member who identifies it as his or her priority chapter. The money goes to help underwrite costs of programs and events sponsored by individual chapters.
By designating a primary chapter, you’re also connecting to an alumni community of interest to you. By doing so, you’re opening up opportunities in that community.
It's easy. Simply find a group that interests you most and designate it as your primary chapter today.
