When you look at the red tiles sitting on the black rooftop of the new Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center, what you’re really seeing is green.  The Spanish-style tiles were stripped from the Alumni Association offices formerly occupying the site and will soon be installed on top of the new facility.

Surprise Gradfest Meeting Reunites Teacher with Former Student
Brian Vaivio (’97) had come to Gradfest to get a cap, gown, and tickets for graduation.  He’ll pick up his second SDSU degree, a master’s of science in business administration, at his May 25 commencement ceremony.

Aztec AD, Football Coach Hit the Road
Aztecs head football coach Brady Hoke and SDSU Athletic Director Jeff Schemmel are hitting the road this month to meet Aztec alumni and fans throughout California.  Scheduled stops include Orange County, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay area.
