The SDSU Alumni Association awards three annual scholarships. The deadline to apply was Friday, October 14th. Applications for the 2012-2013 academic year will be available in August 2012.
SDSU Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship
Open to all class levels. Parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or legal
guardian must be an alumna/alumnus of SDSU and a current member of the
Alumni Association. Criteria include:
- full-time enrollment for Undergrads, 6 units or more for Grad Students
- demonstration of academic merit
- 3.5 GPA
- essay of 500 words or less
- submission of an unofficial transcript copy
- finalist interviews
Value: $4,000.
SDSU Alumni Association Scholarship For Any SDSU Student
Open to all class levels. Criteria include:
- full-time enrollment for Undergrads, 6 units or more for Grad Students
- demonstration of financial need as determined by SDSU Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships based on the student's FAFSA
- 3.2 GPA
- essay of 500 words or less
- submission of an unofficial transcript copy
- finalist interviews
Value: $3,000.
SDSU Alumni Association Scholarship For a First-Year SDSU Student
Open to all class levels. Student must be in their first year at SDSU. Criteria include:
- full-time enrollment for Undergrads, 6 units or more for Grad Students
