Homecoming Set for October 21

Aztecs to Play Fresno State

SDSU’s annual homecoming football game has been set for Saturday, October 21 when the Aztecs take on the Fresno State University Bulldogs. The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff at Qualcomm Stadium.

SDSU has played Fresno State more times than any other Aztec football opponent. The series dates back to 1923. The Aztecs have won two consecutive games against the Bulldogs, including a 17-3 victory last year in Fresno.

SDSU is coming off its second consecutive 11-3 season where it tied a school record for the most wins in a single year, won its second consecutive Mountain West Conference title (21st conference title in program history) and beat Houston, 34-10, in the Las Vegas Bowl, earning a No. 25 ranking in both the AP Top 25 poll and the Amway Coaches Poll. Last season was just the second time SDSU has been ranked in the final AP poll in program history (also in 1977).

New account deposits on 2017 season tickets are being accepted through the Aztec Ticket Office and current season-ticket holders may now renew their tickets for the 2017 season.
