Documentary Maker Seeks Alumni Help Researching Banned Student Movie
In November 1939 a group of San Diego State students headed for the desert to film a parody of the Hollywood classic, "Beau Geste."  Running afoul of a major studio, they were ordered to burn their movie.  It hasn't been seen in public for 70 years - until now.

War Memorial Vigil Raises Awareness of Veterans' Sacrifices
From the playing of "Taps" and the lighting of candles at sunset on October 14 through the dawn's early light the next day, dozens of ROTC students, student veterans, alumni veterans and others stood watch at the university's first all-night vigil before the annual homecoming War Memorial ceremony.
