Sponsored by SDSU Alumni, Aztec Proud was established in 2014 as a peer-to-peer student philanthropy program. Each year, incoming students support the Aztec Proud Legacy Scholarship in honor of their class year with donations of just $10, beginning a sustainable promise of scholarships and resources for generations to come.
Over the past nine years, the collective generosity of SDSU students has resulted in over $500,000 in donations and dozens of scholarships, and has supported life-changing university initiatives like Aztecs Rock Hunger, Dance Marathon and Courage Through Cancer.

The application period for 2024-25 Aztec Scholarships is now open! Apply for the Aztec Proud Legacy Scholarship before August 30.
Current students should apply ASAP to be eligible for the highest number of scholarships. One application is all you need to reach them all! If you’re an incoming student who submitted intent after April 5, apply before the August 2 early-action deadline.
